Procedure
Collect 2 cups of fresh, local cherries and remove the pit the.
Combine the fresh cherries (and/or frozen), frozen bananas, vanilla powder and our Pure Marine Collagen powder in a blender or food processor. Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture. Pour the mixture into a frost-proof container and let it freeze in about 2-4 hours, or until it reaches the desired ice cream texture. If you have the time, stir in the mixture every hour to prevent crystallization.
When ready, pour it into one or more bowls and if desired, sprinkle it with optional topping such as cocoa nibs or chopped almonds for extra texture and flavor.
